  • Yes! There are many displays and hands-on activities that help children understand High Plains life.

  • Yes, our front and back entrances have handicapped parking and automatic doors leading inside. The main front entrance has ramp and an elevator is located inside for those with mobility challenges.

  • Although you can get through in an hour, to really experience everything the museum has to offer, two hours is recommended. Spend the whole day if you like!

  • No, you can purchase tickets when you arrive or if you’d like to purchase ahead of time, please call 605-642-9378.

  • Yes, memberships are greatly appreciated. Click here for more information.

  • No pets are allowed. Only ADA-defined service dogs intended for physical disabilities are permitted.

  • No. You are currently not required to wear a mask.
