The Spirit of the American Cowboy Supper and Comedy Music show at the High Plains Western Heritage Center in Spearfish, SD, is a can’t miss attraction for locals and visitors alike.

You’ll enjoy an authentic cowboy supper of angus steak tips, mashed potatoes, chuck wagon beans, fresh baked roll, salad and homemade peach cobbler for dessert. Supper is served out of the back of an original 1800’s chuckwagon. You'll be seated in the Center’s Founders Hall with a scenic 3-state view beneath a 17-foot sculpture of the country’s most famous cattle trail boss, Tennessee Vaugh.

After dinner, make your way into the Bruce Miller Theater for a 45-minute comedy music show from the duo of Gordy Pratt and Dalyce Sellers. This original show, titled “The Spirit of the American Cowboy” weaves the stories and songs of the old west with several special guest characters, history and lots of laughs!

Also included with your ticket is admission to the High Plains Western Heritage Center where you’re free to explore and see the interactive sights and displays that tell the story of this five-state region that is steeped in history. Be sure to come early and look around!

Tickets are also available for the show only and there are discounts for children 12 and under.
